2023 PEI Pride Parade

Join other members of the UPEIFA at the 2023 PEI Pride Parade! The annual parade will take place this year on Saturday, July 29, starting at noon from the parking lot behind the provincial government buildings on Terry Fox Drive (at the end of the boardwalk), and winding through Charlottetown to end at Rochford Square (see https://drive.google.com/file/d/1iFBkIqc3y_IASpwzL_9Y3IqyAR9QK657/view for the parade route). We’d love to have a large contingent from the UPEIFA to reflect our support for the 2SLGBTQ+ community, an especially important statement to make at a time of rising hate and violence against 2SLGBTQ+ people.

We’ll be gathering in the parking lot close to the UPEI Panther Patrol van — look for us there! We’ll have UPEIFA rainbow paraphernalia, but feel free to bring your own rainbow themed props too. And if you can’t make the parade and walking part, we hope you join the crowds lining the parade route to cheer us on.

Together, let’s show some FA Pride!
